Add a user

Add user

Use the Add user page to create the account, choose the role, set the timezone, and send the invite email in one pass.

  1. Review the Users list first so you do not create a duplicate.
  2. The current add-user form offers Admin and Manager roles.

Change a role or timezone

Open users

Open the existing user record when you need to change access or correct the user timezone. Use the smallest role that still lets the person do their job.

  1. Use Admin for full company admin access.
  2. Use Manager for people who need to manage teams and workflows without full admin rights.

Know what each role means

CareerATS distinguishes between Admin and Manager in the current user-management UI. Older accounts may also appear as User.

  1. Admin: full admin access for the company.
  2. Manager: can manage teams and workflows without full admin rights.
  3. User: a lower-access role that may still exist on older records even though the current add-user form is focused on Admin and Manager.

Resend or remove an unconfirmed invite

Open users

If someone never finishes the invite, open their record. The edit page lets you resend the confirmation email or delete an unconfirmed user.

  1. Check the confirmation status from the Users list before creating a duplicate account.
  2. Delete the old unconfirmed record before inviting the same person again if the original account is no longer needed.
