Applicants report

What this report is for

Open applicant report

The Applicants report compares entries created with contact notes recorded during a selected period. It exists to show both incoming applicant volume and the follow-up activity associated with those applicants.

  1. Upload metrics use entry creation dates.
  2. Contact-note metrics use note creation dates.
  3. The detail tables provide the records behind each total.

How to use the applicant report

Choose the date range, recruiter, opening, and optional note type, then apply the filters. Start broad and add one filter at a time when investigating a team member, role, or kind of contact.

  1. User filtering uses the entry owner for uploads and the note author for contact notes.
  2. Opening limits activity to entries for that role.
  3. Note type narrows contact-note results without changing upload totals.

How to read the applicant report

Use the summary cards and charts to compare intake with contact coverage, then use the two detail tables to validate individual records. Average notes per contacted entry indicates follow-up intensity, not applicant quality.

  1. Uploads by user and opening explain where volume originated.
  2. Contact notes by user and type explain who followed up and how.
  3. Trend charts reveal spikes, gaps, or changes over time.
