Company

Set up company basics

Set the recruiting name

Open recruiting name

Update the recruiting name first if the public-facing company name is wrong or outdated. This is the name applicants will see on forms and messages.

  1. Use a name that applicants will recognize immediately.
  2. Keep the recruiting name aligned with your email branding and career page name.

Review company settings

Open company settings

Use Company Settings for defaults that affect the whole workspace. Change these carefully because they usually apply to every recruiter and opening.

  1. Focus on settings that change applicant flow, visibility, or recruiter defaults.
  2. Make one change at a time if you are cleaning up a broken setup.

Keep tags controlled

Open tags

Tags are useful when they stay small and intentional. Use them for lightweight labels, not as a substitute for folders or workflow design.

  1. Avoid duplicates with different spelling or capitalization.
  2. Use folders for structure and tags for filtering or reporting.

Check user access after setup

Open users

Once the shared settings are in place, confirm the right people can maintain them. This is usually the point where role and access problems show up.

  1. Review who has manager or admin access.
  2. Remove stale users before the company starts working live in the system.
