Use candidates from the same openings and time period. Mixed cohorts can make conversion misleading.
A higher conversion rate is not automatically better. A very high qualified rate may signal loose screening; a very low rate may indicate poor sourcing or an unrealistic job description. Review volume, quality, time, candidate experience, source, role, and final outcomes together.
